Returns & Refunds policy

At Heirloom Rosary Studio, every rosary and bracelet is carefully handcrafted. We want you to be delighted with your purchase, and we also comply fully with UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please read the policy below before placing your order.

Your Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)

If you purchase from our website, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving a reason, with the exception of customised items.

The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you receive your goods.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us within the 14-day period by contacting us at:

Please include your name, order number, and the item(s) you wish to cancel.

You then have a further 7 days to return the item to us.

Conditions for Returns

Returned items must:

• Be unused and in original condition

• Be returned with original packaging

• Include proof of purchase. Please note that we keep records of purchases and will be able to retrieve your proof of purchase.

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked or insured service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Refunds

Once your returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

• Refunds will be processed within 7 days of receiving the returned item.

Original delivery charges will be refunded only where legally required (for example, when cancelling under the Consumer Contracts Regulations).

If you selected premium or expedited shipping, only the cost of standard delivery will be refunded.

Personalised and Custom Made Items

Under UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, the 14-day cancellation right does not apply to personalised or custom made goods.

This includes items made specifically for you, such as:

• Rosaries with custom names or initials

• Pieces made to custom length or design

• Special order items made at your request.

These items cannot be cancelled or returned unless they arrive faulty or damaged.

Faulty or Damaged Items (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under UK law, goods must be:

• As described

• Of satisfactory quality

• Fit for purpose.

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photos where possible.

Depending on the situation, we will offer:

• A repair

• A replacement

• Or a full refund

Rosary Repair Guarantee

Rosaries are devotional items intended to last for many years. Because they are handmade with care, we offer a Rosary Repair Guarantee.

If your rosary breaks due to normal use within 12 months of purchase, we will repair it free of charge (excluding return postage). We do not offer free repairs if the rosary has been mishandled or put under duress, a small charge will be requested for such repairs.

After the first year, we continue to offer affordable repair services whenever possible.

Please note:

• Repairs will require the rosary to be returned to us

• If specific beads or components are no longer available, we will replace them with the closest possible match.

To request a repair, please contact us with photos and your order number, if possible.

Cancellations Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled up to 24 hours before they are dispatched by contacting us as soon as possible.

If work has already begun on a custom or personalised item, cancellation may not be possible.
